Combination Fire/Smoke Dampers - Class I and Class II True Round Models

Combination fire/smoke dampers are used to prevent the passage of both fire and smoke, to be installed at locations that are designated as both fire barriers and smoke barriers.  Combination dampers comply with both the Standard for Fire Dampers, UL555 and the Standard for Smoke Dampers, UL555S.  All models of Carnes combination fire/smoke dampers are UL, ULC and State of California Fire Marshall listed.

Combination fire/smoke dampers are available with a Class I or Class II leakage rating.  Carnes Class I EF series dampers provide a maximum leakage of 8 cfm per square foot at 4.0 inches static pressure.  Carnes Class II EG series dampers provide a maximum leakage of 20 cfm per square foot at 4.0 inches static pressure.

Carnes combination fire/smoke dampers are provided with a damper sleeve or optional side plate.  Numerous accessories are available with combination dampers, including retaining angles, transitions, smoke detectors, remote control boxes, micro switch packages and STO/R or DTO/R (single and double thermostat override).  Fire/smoke dampers are available with electric (120v, 230v or 4v) or pneumatic (25 PSI ) actuators.
