Type A Curtain Fire Dampers - Medium & High Pressure Applications

Model EAKA - Medium Pressure (up to 10" s.p.)

The Model EAKA is a Type A static curtain fire damper.  It is designed for medium pressure applications, up to 10" of static pressure.  The EAKA damper is provided with a 5" caulked and sealed damper sleeve.  This Carnes fire damper is UL and ULC listed for installation in walls, floors and partitions with a fire rating of 1-1/2 or 3 hours.  Model EAKA may be installed vertically of horizontally in static HVAC systems that shut down in the event of fire.  Round, oval or rectangular transitions are available on the EAKA damper.

Model EALA - High Pressure (up to 12" s.p.)

The Model EALA is a Type A static curtain fire damper.  It is designed for high pressure applications, up to 12" of static pressure.  The EALA damper is provided with a 5" fully welded damper sleeve.  Carnes EALA fire damper is UL and ULC listed for installation in walls, floors and partitions with a fire rating of 1-1/2 or 3 hours.  Model EALA may be installed vertically of horizontally in static HVAC systems that shut down in the event of fire.  Round, oval or rectangular transitions are available on the EALA damper.
