The drainable blade louver is designed to minimize water penetration through the louver. This is accomplished by positioning a gutter at the outer edge of the louver blades. The gutters help to reduce the cascading of water from blade to blade. Drain spouts are located at the jambs to collect the water from the louver blades and channel it away to the louver sill.
Carnes extruded aluminum drainable blade louvers are available in 2”, 4” and 6” depths. Stationary or adjustable blade models can be chosen, to meet all of your ventilating needs.
